Hi, my name is Lucas Tensen and Welcome to Cello-Chanting!

It is my belief that everybody is musical and that all of us have an innate ability to sing and create sound together. Through group participation, Cello-Chanting uses the voice, west african kora, shruti box, old pots & pans that sing, didgireedoos, kalimbas, and flutes,… to create a vibrant musical texture that brings inspiration and healing to the body and mind.

Join me in St. Anne’s Church on Saturdays once a month from 1-3                          ~By Donation~ 270 Gladstone Ave. (close to Dufferin & Dundas)

I also play cello in an ensemble called The Junction Trio.  (Flute, Violin, and Cello) Join us on Wednesdays at 7:30 once a month in St. Anne’s Church – 270 Gladstone

Our eclectic programmes feature a variety of repertoire spanning from baroque and classical to modern and pop rock, including experimental improvisation.
