($20 drop in, or series of 6 for $110). 3) BLESSINGS FOR LOVE & MINDFULNESS. (A series of classes that explore Reflective Verse, Group Sounding, & Guided Meditations). Dates: TBA 4) POEMS FOR PEACE & MINDFULNESS. (A series of classes that explore the Art of Poetry Reading, accompanied by Improvisational Sounding). Dates: TBA 5) KID'S SOUND CIRCLE. ( A gathering for kids to learn about music, rhythm, and sound). Dates: TBA Sound Explorations are held occasionally on Saturdays at 84 Glendale Ave. or at St. Anne's (270 Gladstone Ave. - Link to map for St. Anne's) on Sat 1-3. R.S.V.P. Bio - Lucas Tensen is a multi-instrumentalist (cello, kora, world flutes...) with a B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University where he studied cello and voice. He has travelled to Senegal (West Africa) where he took lessons on the Kora (a harp with 21 strings). Lucas lives in Toronto where he teaches cello and facilitates sound gatherings that are healing, relaxing, and inspiring. Lucas plays in the URBAN FLUTE ENSEMBLE (flute, violin, and cello) with Jamie Thompson and Max Scheinin. The URBAN FLUTE ENSEMBLE plays monthly concerts in St. Anne's Church (270 Gladstone Ave.), on Wednesday's at 7:30. Flautist Jamie Thompson joins Cello-Chanting on occasion.
